Town of Yorktown

Yorktown offers a pleasant mix of commercial, residential, and recreational opportunities. There are also many parks and open spaces where residents enjoy activities from swimming and playing sports to hiking nature trails and picnicking with family and friends.

The town is made up of five business hamlets: Mohegan Lake, Shrub Oak, Jefferson Valley, Crompond, and Yorktown Heights, and twelve distinct residential neighborhoods each with their own unique character and identity.

Yorktown is about 35-40 miles North of Manhattan/NYC and 45 miles South of Poughkeepsie.

Nearby Train Station: There is currently no rail service in Yorktown, but there are multiple Metro-North Railroad Stations nearby: Katonah, Bedford Hills, and Mount Kisco (Metro-North Railroad Harlem Line - destination to Grand Central Terminal or Southeast/Wassaic) AND Peekskill, Cortlandt, and Croton-Harmon (Metro-North Railroad Hudson Line - destination to Grand Central Terminal or Poughkeepsie)
